Topsides painting completed!

Islander was covered by tarps for two weeks while her topsides were scraped, sanded, filled, topcoat appkied, sanded, primer appkied, sanded, and sprayed with a final coat of white paint. Today, a bright red vinyl stripe was applied. Islander’s name and home port were added to the stern. Tomorrow, the swim ladder and Monitor self-steering mechanism will be reinstalled. As soon as I could get back on board, Input up the dodger, bimini, and tarps. Now it is time to organize and clean the interior. Posted by Barbara.
